I started out as a journalist in India in 2017. I have experience in reporting and editing. I have been observing, and partaking in politics since childhood. My earliest memory of politics is from a summer vacation at my grandparents’ when a child deliberately put up a Congress flag on our front porch knowing that my grandfather was a BJP voter. My grandfather’s reaction was priceless.

Since 2015, I have been following Korean pop culture and even worked for Vice, reporting on the rise of K-pop in India (my only freelancing pitch that ever got accepted thanks to my dissertation on the topic when I was a post-graduate diploma student). I believe politics and K-pop, and many other life experiences of mine can bring an exciting amalgamation of news presentations that you might not receive from your traditional media houses.

However, since I started this blog/newsletter I have grown to dislike politics given how it has become quite vicious and absolutely vile. So I am trying to write about things that bring me joy and that happens to be the world of fashion, art, cinema, and how these fields also come with their own politics culture, and social nuances.
